Hollywood, Florida – Residents preparing to vote in the November 3 general election can cast their ballots early from Monday, October 19, through Sunday, November 1. Early voting hours will be 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., according to a City of Hollywood announcement.

The city is advising anyone voting at City Hall to allow extra time. Parking demand is high during early voting, and voters should use legal parking spaces and prepare for possible lines.

A separate deadline is approaching for voters who want a ballot mailed to them. Requests must reach the Supervisor of Elections by 5 p.m. on October 22. Requests received afterward will not be processed for this general election.

Voters can find instructions and submit requests through the county’s vote-by-mail information page. Completed mail ballots must be received before 7 p.m. on Election Day, and voters must sign the certificate on the return envelope.

Election Day polling hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters can check their assigned location using the county’s precinct finder.

Completed vote-by-mail ballots cannot be dropped off at Election Day polling places. Voters returning them that day should use an authorized elections office or ballot intake location before the deadline. Bringing a mail ballot to cancel it and vote in person is a separate option.

The Broward County Supervisor of Elections website provides early voting locations and ballot drop-off schedules. Hollywood residents can also review candidates and referendum information on the city’s 2026 election webpage.
