Pine Crest School senior Lucia Lecour earns national recognition as a 2026 Coca-Cola Scholar for leadership and service
Pine Crest, Florida – Pine Crest School is celebrating a major achievement as senior Lucia Lecour ’26 has been named a 2026 Coca-Cola Scholar, one of the most prestigious honors available to U.S. high school students. Lecour is among 150 students nationwide selected for this award, recognized for their outstanding leadership, community service, and academic excellence.
The Coca-Cola Scholars Program, now in its 38th year, highlights young people who have demonstrated a commitment to making a positive impact in their communities. Recipients are chosen not only for their scholastic accomplishments but also for their ability to inspire and drive meaningful change in the lives of others.
“Coca-Cola Scholars exemplify superior leadership, service and academics and are change agents who positively affect others in their communities,” the program notes. Lecour’s selection reflects these qualities and underscores her dedication both inside and outside the classroom.
As part of the award, Lecour will receive a $20,000 college scholarship to support her higher education pursuits. In addition to the financial award, she will attend Coca-Cola Scholars Weekend, an event designed to foster leadership growth. Participants engage with the Coca-Cola Scholars Leadership Development Institute, a program led by alumni that focuses on honing skills for personal development, civic engagement, and community impact.
Lucia’s recognition as a Coca-Cola Scholar places her among a distinguished group of young leaders who are shaping the future. Scholars are selected from a highly competitive pool of applicants, highlighting both exceptional achievement and a dedication to serving others.
