Orlando, Florida – The Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) Scholarship Foundation has announced the appointment of Jennifer Keller, CPA, as its new 2025-26 Chair. Keller, based in Tampa, officially assumed the role on July 1, 2025, and brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the foundation. She has been a prominent figure in the accounting community, particularly with Crowe’s National Retail Dealer Services group, which serves over 12,000 dealerships across the United States.

Keller’s professional journey has seen her play an influential role in auditing, tax, advisory, and consulting services. As a leader in her field, she has earned a reputation for her expertise and dedication. However, it is her involvement with the FICPA that stands as a testament to her commitment to both the profession and the community. Her dedication to the FICPA includes being a graduate of the Emerging Leaders Program, serving as a past member of the Women in Leadership Committee, and chairing the West Coast Chapter and the Young CPAs Committee. Keller’s contributions to the organization have been recognized through several prestigious awards, including the FICPA Horizon Award and the AICPA Outstanding Young CPAs Award.

“I know first-hand the impact of this Foundation,” said Keller, reflecting on her journey from scholarship recipient to Chair. “I sincerely hope that my journey from Scholar to Chair will inspire both our students and benefactors, opening their eyes to what’s possible and underlining the value of this remarkable institution. The FICPA Scholarship Foundation has given me so much, and I embrace this opportunity to pay it forward.”

Her appointment is a significant moment in the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to provide financial support and opportunities to students pursuing careers in accounting. Keller’s leadership comes at a time when the Foundation is committed to expanding its impact, and her personal connection to the mission only strengthens the organization’s vision. As Chair, she will work alongside Foundation Director Jennifer Allen to build upon the success of previous years by expanding the Foundation’s reach, welcoming new supporters, and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders.

“Jennifer Keller’s proud history of volunteer service to both the FICPA and the Foundation makes her our ideal leader,” said Allen. “She uniquely understands the legacy and impact of each organization and brings the passion and vision to drive us all forward.”

In addition to Keller’s leadership, the Foundation will be supported by an accomplished Board of Trustees. This group includes a diverse range of professionals from across the accounting industry, including leaders from firms such as PWC, BDO, and Deloitte. Trustees also include experts in governance, finance, and programs, ensuring the Foundation remains well-equipped to meet its goals. Among the distinguished Board members are Binita Mehta, Ana Del Cerro-Fals, Silvana Capaldi, Steve Morrison, and many more.

The FICPA Scholarship Foundation continues to make a profound difference in the lives of accounting students. In the 2025-26 year, the Foundation is set to award over $200,000 in scholarships. These scholarships are designed to assist fourth-year, fifth-year, and graduate-level students, providing vital support as they work toward earning their degrees. The Foundation will also offer Exam Prep Scholarships for students studying to pass the CPA Exam, as well as Bridge to CPA Scholarships, which allow eligible candidates to fulfill their fifth-year requirements for licensure without incurring tuition costs.

Through the challenge, key leaders such as Jesus Socorro, Tony Argiz, and Steve Morrison each made $100,000 contributions, helping to ensure the long-term sustainability of the Foundation’s mission. These contributions highlight the growing support for the Foundation’s work and its ability to attract influential figures in the accounting field.

The FICPA Scholarship Foundation’s efforts, led by Keller and Allen, are more critical than ever in today’s fast-evolving world of accounting. Through its scholarships and initiatives, the Foundation not only supports students but also ensures the continued success and growth of the accounting profession in Florida. As Keller takes the reins, the Foundation is poised for an exciting year ahead, filled with new opportunities for students, professionals, and supporters alike.
