Oakland Park, Florida – Oakland Park is taking a major step forward in modernizing its city services as the Utility Billing Division relocates from City Hall to the Sky Building this September. Situated on the 5th floor of 1100 Park Lane East, the move is part of a broader effort to streamline operations, improve public access, and bring renewed energy to downtown Oakland Park. Convenient on-site public parking will be available for residents visiting the new location.

While the relocation is underway, in-person services may be limited, but residents can still pay their water bills quickly and conveniently through a variety of methods. Online payments are available at oaklandpark.munisselfservice.com, or by phone at 1-877-422-7876, with your Account Number and Customer ID ready. Payments can also be made in person at any Amscot location with a statement, or through the secure drop box behind City Hall, which will remain available through September 2025.

“This relocation is more than just a change of address — it’s part of the City’s larger vision to strengthen services and revitalize downtown,” city officials said. By consolidating departments in the Sky Building, Oakland Park aims to make operations more efficient, improve residents’ access to essential services, and support a vibrant, revitalized downtown core.

The move is part of a broader transformation in the heart of the city. Downtown Oakland Park is entering an exciting new chapter, with initiatives ranging from the Sky Building consolidation to the Horizon project. These improvements are designed to foster economic revitalization, support local businesses, create jobs, and generate new tax revenue. At the same time, city leaders are careful to preserve the small-town charm that makes Oakland Park unique.

Residents can expect more than just improved city services. The consolidation of city departments into the Sky Building is intended to create a central hub for public access, making it easier for people to handle multiple city-related needs in one convenient location. It also reflects the city’s commitment to providing modern, efficient, and accessible services to the community.

The transition period may come with minor inconveniences, but officials have expressed appreciation for residents’ patience and cooperation. “Thank you for your patience and support during this transition,” city representatives said. They emphasize that the temporary changes are necessary to achieve long-term improvements that will benefit both residents and the downtown business community.

By bringing the Utility Billing Division to the Sky Building, Oakland Park is demonstrating its dedication to progress and service innovation. These steps are designed not just to improve day-to-day operations, but to set the stage for broader economic and community growth. With enhanced amenities, better access, and a revitalized downtown, the city is positioning itself as a vibrant and modern community while maintaining the character and charm that residents value.
