Sunrise Amphitheater set to host a grand re-opening celebration with live music giveaways and family fun on October 4th

Sunrise, Florida – South Florida residents have a reason to mark their calendars this fall as the Sunrise Amphitheater prepares to welcome the community back with a grand re-opening on Saturday, October 4th. Located at 10770 West Oakland Park Boulevard, the event promises an evening of entertainment, family-friendly activities, and a chance to experience one of the area’s newest open-air concert venues.
The festivities kick off at 5:30 p.m., with the official ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for 6:00 p.m., setting the stage for an energetic evening. Organizers are inviting guests of all ages to enjoy live music, food, and giveaways, creating an atmosphere of celebration and community connection. “We are thrilled to re-open the Sunrise Amphitheater and offer residents a space where music, culture, and community come together,” said a spokesperson for the city.
Attendees can look forward to a high-energy performance by Gypsy Lane Band, whose stage presence is expected to get the crowd dancing under the stars. Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair to make the most of the evening while enjoying the music and festivities. In addition, a roaming photo booth will allow families and friends to capture memories throughout the night.
The event will also feature a variety of free giveaways and treats. The first 700 guests will receive lawn blankets, while popcorn and snow cones will be available while supplies last. Adding a spectacular visual element to the evening, a drone show will illuminate the sky above the amphitheater, creating a unique and memorable experience for all in attendance.
Food enthusiasts will have plenty of options as well, with food trucks serving diverse cuisines to satisfy every palate. The combination of music, food, and community engagement is designed to make the grand re-opening more than just a concert—it’s an opportunity to reconnect with neighbors and celebrate the city’s commitment to accessible, vibrant outdoor entertainment.
The Sunrise Amphitheater, alongside the City Park Amphitheater, has become an essential hub for local performances, cultural events, and theatrical presentations. Organizers are also teasing upcoming announcements for the 2025-26 season of the popular Tunes ‘N Trucks concert series, promising continued engagement and entertainment for the community.
Admission and parking for the grand re-opening are completely free, emphasizing the city’s dedication to making cultural and recreational experiences accessible to everyone. Residents and visitors alike are encouraged to come early, enjoy the offerings, and participate in the festivities as Sunrise Amphitheater reestablishes itself as a centerpiece of South Florida’s outdoor entertainment scene.
This October 4th event marks a celebratory return of the reimagined venue, combining live music, family fun, and stunning visual displays to provide an unforgettable evening for all who attend.
